Stephen Page
Stephen began his career in the 1980s, working with listed groups, banks, professional service firms and international clients on governance, company secretarial and corporate matters.
With more than three decades of experience across financial services, governance technology and advisory work, Stephen specialises in UK corporate governance, board and committee support, company legislation, corporate reorganisations and practical governance support for owner-managed and international businesses.
Throughout his career, Stephen has held senior governance, legal and compliance roles with Nasdaq, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, PwC, Tricor, ICSA Software and Diligent. He has held executive and non-executive board roles, managed group secretariat functions, advised boards and senior management, prepared corporate and transaction documentation, supported listed and regulated environments, and spoken internationally on governance, compliance and board effectiveness.
Stephen also founded his own corporate advisory, accounting and company secretarial consultancy, which was later acquired by Tricor. This gave him direct experience of building, managing and integrating a specialist professional services business, as well as advising clients on complex governance and corporate matters.
As Chairperson of Boru Consulting, Stephen is focused on helping clients address corporate governance, corporate structuring, company legislation and board-level advisory matters with commercially grounded advice and clear implementation support.
